The Inn at Essex is a charming 120 room country hotel set on 18 beautiful acres with a picturesque Vermont setting. Though the location is pleasantly removed, the Inn is nonetheless convenient to the airport, sightseeing and the most popular attractions. Each of the Inn's restaurants Butler's and The Tavern offer gourmet cuisine prepared by 190 chefs and students of the acclaimed New England Culinary Institute. Butler's features gourmet American Cuisine while The Tavern features Casual American Fare. This highly acclaimed hotel has received innumerable awards for the quality of its accommodations and its restaurants.
The guest rooms and suites are perfectly appointed and complete in every detail, with period reproduction furniture of superb craftsmanship, handsome draperies and linens and a host of modern amenities. Each of the 120 guests rooms is individually decorated in a Colonial style. This is the only luxury resort in the greater Burlington area, and it offers breathtaking views of the Green Mountains.
